LOVE Mini Album...

I don’t scrap very often, but couple of days ago I set down with a circle mini album in my head… I have a bunch of chipboard coasters that I purchased at Michaels ($1/pack)... and this is what I came up with, using some of those coasters as the covers of my mini book:

Stamps:
Love is Sweet and A Year of Sweet Sentiments (Taylored Expressions)...
Paper:
Valentine Key Ingredients pack and Snow White Choice paper (Taylored Expressions)…
Ink: Pitch Black Adirondack (Ranger Ink), Chocolate Chip (SU!)… Copic Markers…
Embellishments: chipboards shapes, Prima flowers, buttons, ribbon, Hamp Twine, pearls, red rhinestones, lace, clear acrylic hearts…
Tools: circle die (Spellbinders Nestabilities), Doily border punch (Martha Stewart), heart die (Sizzix), Word Window punch (SU!), sponge dauber...

1. I started my project with painting the chipboard letters and shape, using Vanilla and Strong Red acrylic paint. While the pieces were drying, I started to work on the cover and back of the mini book.
2. I sanded the surface of the chipboard coasters so the paper would adhere better, then covered them with pattern paper, using UHU TwistandGlue… let them dry… then I sanded and sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip ink…
3. Next I cut 4 circles out of Snow White Choice paper with my largest Nestabilities die… cut the designer and colored paper… and attached them to the circles…

4. Picked my photos... cut them with the circle die... and attached them to the pages...
5. Then I punched a bunch of strips of red paper with the Doily border punch, and attached them to the cover and the inside pages…

6. Now it was time to pick my cuppie images. :o) I stamped, colored, and cut them out... then I stamped the words and punched those out...
7. Die cut some hearts out of clear packaging with my Sizzix die... stamped some swirls on with Black StazOn...

...and after taking some flowers, buttons and other embellishments out... I put the pages and cover together. I used lots of dimensionals and glue dots...

I can always add more pages since I used a ring that opens up... so as long as there's room on the ring, I can add as many pages as I want to...

Thanks for looking!
Monika
