Pamper Yourself Gift Set by Dawn

Today I have a wonderful little gift set to share with you! Taylored Expressions came out with a gorgeous new set called Luxurious Labels that I know everyone is going to ♥love♥! Gift giving is so much better when there are homemade touches. Like this gift tag for example ;)
This bath set had a crummy little tag on it that I quickly snipped off as soon as I got home. Adding a handmade tag using the Luxurious Labels makes this boring set spring to life!
The tag was created but layering several Spellbinder Nesties. First I stamped the image in Memento Black ink onto some Choice Snow White cardstock. The image was coloured with Copics and some Stickles were added to the bubbles. Organdy ribbon and paper piercing were added as final touches. To attach the tag I used an eyelet...I know...do people still use these things? LOL...well it worked well for my tag ;)
Thanks for taking a peek at my little gift set! I can't wait to give this away :)

TEBB Challenge #7 Hosted by Dawn

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are enjoying all of the challenges!?! We are only at the half way mark and you still have plenty of time to catch up or join in on the fun! You won't want to miss out :) Remember you have 5 days to complete the challenges and upload your creations to be eligible to win some FANTASTIC prizes!

I'm so excited to be hosting a challenge for you today. Since this is a challenge I've decided to challenge myself too! I've never been a fan of scissors as I'm sort of accident prone...lol BUT like I said it's a challenge right?

So how about a little paper tole? Not sure what that is? It's when you stamp your image at least three times, cut it out, pop it up with dimensionals. Here I have stamped the bear from Beary Special but only the bear paws are popped three times. The bear and present(from the Beary Special Accessories) has been popped twice.
Here is a close up of the layers.
Ready to play along?

CHALLENGE: Get out your scissors and layer up some fabulous stamped images! You’re not required to use Taylored Expressions images for our challenges.

KEYWORD: Upload your creation to your blog or online gallery (or both). If you’re uploading to online galleries, use the keyword TEBBDE. Then come back to this challenge and leave a comment with a direct link to your creation! In order to be eligible for the prizes, you must leave a comment with a link to your card by midnight PST Wednesday, September 9th.

PRIZE: I will choose my favorite creation from among all the participants and mail you the cards I created for this challenge along with a $10.00 gift certificate to the TE Store!

GRAND PRIZE: One random person who participates in ALL 13 of our Birthday Bash challenges will receive a $50 gift certificate to the TE Store in addition to an 8x10 custom watercolor Cuppie painting by our very own Jessie Oleson! Thank You Berry Much

Good Morning!
Have you been following along this past week with all the wonderful creations made with Taylor's newest sets?! Aren't they amazing?! You can now get them for yourself at Taylored Expressions.
I just adore this sentiment and I couldn't wait to use it. This is a little pizza box, which Jen del Muro wrote a tutorial for and you can find it here on SCS. It's super easy and very well written. It was perfect for some strawberry filled chocolates I picked up for a colleague at work.
Almost all my supplies came from this month's KI kit. Don't you just love those kits...they make putting something together a BREEZE! Here I have stamped the strawberry basket image from the Berries & Cherries set in Memento black ink. The Choice Snow White cardstock is awesome for colouring with Copics(it also comes in the KI kit). For a little added pizzazz, stickles were used on the strawberry seeds ;)
Supplies
Stamps: Berries & Cherries
Cardstock: Baby Blue Medium and Intense Kiwi Prism Papers, Choice Snow White
Inks: Memento Black
Accessories: Copics, Scalloped edge punch, Mat pack and paper piercer, Ribbon, Circle nesties, Stickles, Dimensionals

Gift Box and Cards

Good Morning!
I'm so excited to share a little gift I've made for a close friend! When Taylored Expressions came out with the Faith & Hope set I knew my friend would love some cards made with the sentiments! Card sets are something she loves to receive from me but I didn't just want to hand her a bunch of cards ;) I wanted to put them IN something. So I created this little gift box. This holds 4 cards and envelopes but I'm sure you could squeeze six in there!
For the front of my box I used the flower from the Beary Special Accessories and also a sentiment from A Year of Sweet Sentiments.
I hope that she will use the gift box for something else someday and that is why I went with a simple sentiment....which I happen to love!
I am going to try to explain how I created this.
To create the box I used:
5 x 11 cardstock scored at 2.5 and 9
5 x 8.5 cardstock scored at 2
Tape the two pieces together on the 2" sides(bottom of box)
For the inside holders you will need two of the following:
3.5 x 7.5 scored at 1/2, 1 1/2, 6, 7.
Tape the small 1/2" sides to the inside of the box.
I scalloped the flap edge but you can decorate it however you like.
Here is a side view which you can click to enlarge. Sorry I didn't get an inside shot before giving it away :(
I've made four simple cards using the Faith & Hope Stamp set.

Supplies Used:
Stamps: Beary Special Accessories, Faith & Hope, A Year of Sweet Sentiments
Cardstock: Choc chip, Sahara Sand, Soft Sky, Pumpkin Pie, October Afternoon DP
Inks: Memento Black, Choc Chip
Accessories: Copics, Nesties, Rhinestones, Primas, Flower Punches, Silver Brads, Scalloped Edge Punch, Ribbon, Dimensionals

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Golf Bag Tags

When I first saw this cute putting green image from the Boys Will Be Boys stamp set I knew I needed to make golf bag tags with it! Although my husband came to mind I actually thought of making one for the golf clubs I've had sitting in the basement for two years(with the tags still on them)! BUT I decided to make his first ;)
I started with some chipboard and my SU! Top Note Die. I then used the papers from the Father's Day Key Ingredients to cover the front and back of the die cut. The image was stamped with Memento Black onto some kraft cardstock and coloured with Copic markers. The golf ball was coloured with a white gel pen. I then used the Oval Nesties to cut out my image and sentiment layers. A jumbo eyelet was used so that I'll be able to attach the tag to a golf bag. The back was stamped using the JustRite Brayton Font and the Harmony Rectangular Stamper Set.
Here is one I made for myself. PINK of course! I've used the April 20th Key Ingredients designer paper to cover my chipboard top note die. The backside is stamped just like my husband's but with my name ;) Since I like ribbon I decided to add a little bit to mine!

Altered Photo Frame with Mother's Day Key Ingredients

I've got a fun altered photo frame project to share with you today! A couple of years ago while on vacation to the States I stocked up on some of those super cheap photo frames from the Target Dollar Spot. Since then I've also made these with the plain wooden frames available at Michael's. How about the deets now :)

I chose a couple papers from the Mother's Day Key Ingredients to use. First I traced the frame on a sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" Prism cardstock and cut it out. I used some mod podge to adhere it to the frame. While that dried I gathered up the rest of my supplies. Since I don't want to send this frame without a photo I decided to make a focal image using the Fresh Flowers stamp set. The image was stamped with Memento Black ink onto Choice Buttercream cardstock which is available in the Mother's Day Key Ingredients or in a package of 25 sheets. I then coloured with some Copic markers and cut it out with some oval nestabilities. Speaking of nestibilities....did you see that Taylored Expressions is now carrying a great selection of Spellbinders products!
I've finished the frame off with some gorgeous ribbon and Kaiser Rhinestones from the kit as well!

Now I will gift this to my Grandmother for Mother's Day next month and she can either choose to leave the image in or take it out and insert a photograph.
Below you will see a snapshot of what the frame looked like before I started!
