TEBB Challenge #9 Hosted by Sharon Harnist

Good afternoon -- we're excited you've been here today helping us celebrate Cuppie's 1st birthday!

I have an inspiration challenge for you this hour -- just about the polar opposite from Taylor's bold, bright and graphic one ... mine is shabby/chic & distressed!

This is one of my favorite styles , so I hope you'll join me and give it a try! Think soft, muted colors accented with brown for an aging effect, distressed & shabby!

CHALLENGE: Get inspired by the photo -- Pull out a color combination, single image or element, theme, or maybe even a layout and use it to create anything your heart desires! You’re not required to use Taylored Expressions images for our challenges.

KEYWORD: Upload your creation to your blog or online gallery (or both). If you’re uploading to online galleries, use the keyword TEBBSH. Then come back to this challenge thread and leave a comment with a direct link to your creation! In order to be eligible for the prizes, you must leave a comment with a link to your card by midnight PST Wednesday, September 9th.

PRIZE: I will choose my favorite creation from among all the participants and mail you the card I created for this challenge, along with a $10.00 gift certificate to the TE Store!

DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE GRAND PRIZE: One random person who participates in ALL 13 of our Birthday Bash challenges will receive a $50 gift certificate to the TE Store in addition to an 8x10 custom watercolor Cuppie painting by our very own Jessie Oleson -- WOW!

Here's the card I created for my inspiration challenge, using For The Love of Cupcakes set. I drew my color choice from the inspiration photo, as well as using a grouping of three cupcakes on a hanging plaque. It's 5.50" square.

Thanks so much for play along -- I can't wait to see how YOU are inspired! Don't forget to check back for four more challenges today!

Happy Stamping! ~ Sharon

The colors reminded me of babies so I made a baby card: http://cardoftheweek.ning.com/photo/taylored-expressions-challenge-8?context=album&albumId=2076575%3AAlbum%3A663272
